Multilevel

" Multilevel" is a series of works in which different materials such as paper, fabric, and thread are layered and interwoven on the surface. Within these compositions, the rigor of geometry and a precise selection of colors contrast with instinctive, irrational forms and hues that emerge elsewhere on the same plane. In Gratitude, this interplay becomes even more evident, as the intervention extends behind the partially transparent surface, revealing multiple layers of interpretation—like the many levels through which life itself is experienced. The series reflects on emotions that define human experience, emphasizing how essential it is to represent not only the rhythm of harmony, clarity, and radiance that accompanies memory and awareness, but also the unpredictable, fleeting, and tangled aspects that coexist with them. The form of Multilevel arises from the intimate stage of the artist’s life, through the recollection of diverse events—both relevant and irrelevant details, moments of awareness and transformation, joyful and painful sensations, and all those experiences that together construct the texture of memory and human synergy.

Gratitude, 2018

"The first time I felt incomplete was when they separated me from your body, mother."
Eleonora Gugliotta

To this day, the only feeling the artist claims to truly know and have experienced—the first, undisputed, and eternal one—is the bond with her origin: the one who granted her existence. In translating onto a surface the complexity of her relationship with her mother, materials, forms, and colors intertwine in a tangled and layered play of parts, reflecting the emotional and symbolic depth of that primordial connection.

Gift, 2019

"The value of a person lies in what they are capable of giving, not in what they are capable of taking."
— Albert Einstein

The emotion represented here is Generosity, conveyed through the act of offering, of giving—a gift. As some ancient civilizations teach us, the value of the gift lies at the foundation of coexistence.
Anthropologist and friend Andrea Staid explores the importance of the gift as a total social fact in this insightful video , reflecting on its ethical and communal dimension as a gesture that strengthens the bonds between individuals and society.

Harmony, 2016

"What is opposed brings together; from differences comes the most beautiful harmony, and all things are generated through conflict."
— Heraclitus of Ephesus

Harmony is a work created directly on the wall with colored wool threads, which unfold in space like lines of energy and balance.
The piece is inspired more by a virtue than by a human emotion — one belonging to the forms of nature and to the invisible laws that govern existence.
The artist explores the possibility of reconciling opposing forces, translating into visual gesture the Heraclitean principle that from contrast and tension arises the purest form of beauty.

Solar Body, 2025

“Keep your eyes on the sun, and you will not see the shadows.”
— Australian Aboriginal proverb

This work is inspired by the vital force of the sun — the celestial body that illuminates, warms, and gives life to every form of being on Earth.
The circular composition, crossed by warm and vibrant colors, reflects the continuous energy that moves the cosmos and connects all living things.
Recalling the symbologies of Australian Aboriginal cultures, the piece celebrates the sacred relationship between light, earth, and spirit, inviting reflection on our belonging to the eternal cycle of nature.
