Different Design Thinking – Milano Design Week’25

Corti (Short Films) is an project that explores memories physically extracted from specific places such as the Botanical Garden of Palermo, the MAAM – Museum of the Other and the Elsewhere of Metropoliz in Rome, the city of Palermo, and more recently, the NoLo district of Milan. Fragments of lived experiences and inhabited spaces are collected and archived under a layer of transparent adhesive tape, which acts like a camera, capturing details and elements and turning each trace into a reel of reality. Like a sequence of short films, the project unfolds through these authentic fragments, organized in the chronological order of the artist’s encounters with the places, giving life to a narrative that evolves through time and space.
